Today I visited with Natasha's family.  Today they celebrated Raksha Bandhan.  They celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters.  Every year the brother promises the protect the sister, and the sister promises to be loyal to them and strengthen their bond.

The ceremony started with the sisters putting saffron paste on the forehead and then they tie a Rakhi around the brother's right wrist. Then the sisters take the plate and do this circular motion around them, and it's like they are giving blessings and honoring the brother. Then the sister gives them a sweet pastry.

It was super cool to watch them!
