When I moved back home after college, I encouraged my family to start recycling just soda cans. One soda can can equal 3 hours of TV time. Soda cans turned into all aluminum, that turned into glass & plastic, which turned into newspaper & cardboard too!
Fact: our family now recycles more than we actually throw away. Yay for a smaller carbon footprint!
